Applications
The CCBGAP program is open to any Xavier University undergraduate interested in pursuing graduate study in chemistry or chemical biology. The deadline to apply is November 14.

The CCBGAP program application consists of….
- the web form at this link to be filled out by the applicant
- two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member in Chemistry)
- college transcripts (unofficial transcripts are OK). To help track applications, please name this file ccbgap_lastname_transcript.
- a one-page statement of purpose that describes the applicant’s research interests, experience, and post-baccalaureate aspirations. To help track applications, please name this file ccbgap_lastname_application.

Review of applications will begin on November 20. For full consideration, all materials should be received by November 20.
All applications will be reviewed by committee of UC Davis faculty in consultation with faculty from Xavier University, with finalists potentially interviewed by Zoom. Applicants will be selected based on criteria including interest and motivation to pursue research, strength of their academic record and recommendation letters, and connection to research interests to CCB-GAP
Applicants will be notified of their status starting on November 27 (or earlier).
